A Reminder..If you Travel to Jamaica....

Just a little reminder if your traveling to the beautiful country of Jamaica in the near future and you partake of their ever happening night life, You should learn a new dance before you head down there so you don't feel like a complete tool on the dance floor, I bring you the art of daggering!!!

I took the definition of Daggering off of the Urban Dictionary website, it describes daggering as...

Daggering310 up31 down
This is a Dancehall.Mobi definition of a term or phrase that is popular in the dancehall and / or in the lyrics of Jamaican deejays and singers. What is daggering? Some call it “dry sex” on the dance floor of a dance or party, but daggering is where a man and woman are dancing in a sexually provocative manner, which usually includes them simulating various sexual positions, and often times, rough sex, to the beat of whatever music is playing at the time. In recent times, dancehall artistes RDX and Mr. Vegas have both released daggering songs in tribute to the newly accepted name for an action / activity that has been present in Jamaica’s dancehalls for many years.

Wow O Wow...Could this be real!? It Sure is!! I watch MTV Canada Non stop..Addict for sure. And I have
my favourite personality called Sheena Snively HILARIOUS by the way..cracks me RIGHT UP!!
Anyways, she investigates this amazing new dance....Heres the video...

Friendship

"A friend is someone, who upon seeing another friend in immense pain, would rather be the one experiencing the pain than to have to watch their friend suffer." - Amanda Grier

The meaning of this quote holds such a special place in my heart because I can say I have truly felt this way over a friend, over many friends to be exact.
Like in my last blog I mentioned that I've faced some hardships in the past month, that have truly tested this quote I've lost some friends and gained a very best friend, someone who has listened and been there for me at my worst and I appreciate and I love Kaitlin more than she knows.
I've also lost a few friends with whom I shared some immensely happy times with and some that were not so great. I've learned the meaning of support and how it can be shared through a group of friends between one another and around and back all over again.
It does nothing to make me smile to see these kinds of things happen.
I've recently been diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and what a struggle that has been, the support that I have received has been thoroughly encouraging and I really can't thank everyone enough for the kind words and prayers that I have gotten I truly feel the outpouring of love and support and encouragement I just wanted to thank you all whoever is reading this.
And to let you know that your thoughts and prayers really mean do mean the world to me and I appreciate every single one of you. <3

A simple kind of thing...

Well, I never thought I would ever actually have a blog until my wonderful friend Kaitlin thoroughly inspired me with hers! I have always enjoyed putting my thoughts and writings down on paper so Why not try Blogging!! Well I don't know where to actually begin.
Other than to maybe tell a little about myself. My name is Megan Brown, I am a single Mom of two amazing little girls. Onica who is six and Erylin who has recently turned the ripe old age of three!! I have my hands full!!
I have had quite a turbulent month, but have learned so much from the people that I'm surrounded by.
I've learned the love of making new friends and the loss of losing old, I've learned how to lose love and how to gain it right back.
I am so very thankful for the many things I'm lucky to have in my life.

I hope that with my blog I may inspire others who are in my shoes or have recently been in my shoes to know that everything will be just fine!
Things work out in the absolute strangest ways and I'm lucky enough to be learning that all right now!!
I hope to write another blog soon! And in the mean time, Don't forget you are beautiful and Loved!
